Very tasty cakes and tarts, the price was totally okay!

Friendly service. Delicious cake.

Seldom had breakfast that bad. No menu available. One roll per breakfast, just a small coffee as a hot drink, for everything else surcharge. Enormously expensive too. Opened honey pack from the previous guest and a fish-smelling salami. The coffee wasn't good either. The breakfast was just off-putting and not recommended. Would give 0 stars if I could.

A ray of hope during our stay in Schongau, not least because of the very good quality of the craftsmanship of the cakes (we had poppy seed crumble cake and shrapnel). A bit rough but friendly service. The decor of the café is getting on in years (I'm guessing 1960 or older), but it is absolutely coherent and therefore has an iconic charm that is well worth seeing.

You sit beautifully outside. Inside a little cave atmosphere and in the style of the 70s. But has something. The cake and cafe is good. There is the daily newspaper! Very fine.

It's beautiful there! :) We are always served in a friendly manner, the drinks are always perfect, from coffee to aperitifs. The cakes are also fantastic.

Unfriendly and coffee doesn't taste good

Over 30 years ago, when I was stationed in Altenstadt, I visited this unique cafe in Schongau. At that time two older women were serving. The selection of cakes and tarts was outstanding. Fortunately, not much has changed to this day. When we visited, everything looked as described above. The cafe was very busy shortly after opening hours. We found a nice place and ordered breakfast. Special requests were no problem for the operation. The aged rooms were very clean and well maintained.

Quite nice cake great - different cafes espresso ... but tea ... Darjeeling only in the Haferl ... then water rather - something must be in the jug - formerly there was in the garden on the terrace ONLY KUNNEN !! What happened??

Well ... OK for the coffee in between.

Very nice cozy cafe, the breakfast is always lovingly prepared, with yogurt and a small Kuchenstückchen and fresh fruit, delicious cake, nice and always attentive staff-we will gladly come again-so can only recommend it

Café with charm. One does not believe how many people go there on weekdays in the morning. Sometimes, when it's busy, it takes a little longer to get your order. Service is friendly, prices are ok.

Café with style, very good coffee, delicious cake and very nice staff. Absolutely lovingly prepared breakfast with fresh vegetables, small Kuchenstückchen and fine jam, sausage, cheese and rolls at a very fair price. Since you have to search for a long time to find something like this.

The cake was delicious, the coffee unfortunately inedible. Despite several attempts, I did not manage to drink the stuff. Operation inattentive and unfriendly. The decor of the cafe is nice, the toilets have the charm of bygone times ... Today it should look different. All in all, my recommendation: Avoid the café, maybe there is also the cake to take away ...
